Mondays, Oct 21st, Oct. 28th, Nov. 4th (and weekly) – Rugcutters Swing Dancing at the Madonna Inn, 100 Madonna Road, SLO. 7-10 pm.

Tuesday, Oct 22nd – SLO Jazz Federation Jazz Jam at The Mark Bar & Grill, 673 Higuera St, SLO. 7-9pm (plus every 2nd and 4th Tuesday).

Wednesday, Oct 23rd – New Orleans themed Kick-Off Party at Harry’s Night Club and Beach Bar, 690 Cypress St, Pismo Beach.  The West Coast Gumbo Band with special guest Dave Ruffner (7-10:30pm). $25 advance tickets through Harry’s Website (Click HERE) — New Orleans cuisine is included with your ticket. 

Wednesday, Oct 23rd – Maddie and Elias perform Bossa Nova favorites at Steller’s Cellar Wine Bar at 400 East Clark Ave, Orcutt, 5:00-7:30 pm. Check the website for details (click HERE).  

Thursday, Oct 24th – Dave Ruffner Jazz Quartet at Puffers of Pismo – 781 Price Street, Pismo Beach (5-8pm). Dave Ruffner – trombone, Dawn Lambeth – piano, Sam Rocha – bass, and Jim Stromberg – drums! Special intimate show in the 40 capacity room (imagine Bourbon Street!). JJCC Sponsor Event + $45 tickets available. Ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres and limited wine/beer. Thursday, Oct 24th – Robert Alberts Quintet at Madonna Inn, 100 Madonna Road, San Luis Obispo. (7-10pm & weekly). Free

Friday, Oct 25th – SLO Jazz Federation presents “Adam Levine and Metro” with Adam (guitar), Ron McCarley (sax), Kristian Ducharme (keyboard), Dylan Johnson (bass) and Darrell Voss (drums). At Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, 1701 Fredericks St., San Luis Obispo. 7:30 pm.  Tickets are $35 for general admission, $25 for Jazz Fed members, and $10 for students.  They can be purchased at my805tix.com (click HERE).  

Friday, Oct 25th – Balboa Swing Dance lessons & dance featuring the Big Sirs of Swing (Gypsy Jazz) – Grover Beach Community Ctr., 1230 Trouville Ave.  6:30-9:30 pm. $20 tickets online at GB City website (Click HERE) and at the door.

Friday, Oct 25th – Ray Chang Band at Puffers of Pismo, 7-10 pm ($5 cover).

Friday, Oct 25th – Mariachi Autlence show at Maya Mexican Restaurant, 110 S Lincoln St, Santa Maria. 6-8 pm.

Saturday, Oct 26th – Swing Dance lessons (10am – 1pm) plus performances by College Big Band Jazz Groups (1-5pm). Dance Lessons: 10am – Bridget and Robbie Hughes will teach Balboa swing, 11am – Lindy Hop lesson with the RugCutters, Noon – Rumba dance lesson with Ernie Gamble. Band Performances: 1pm – Cal Poly Big Band (Dir. Jamaal Baptiste), 2pm – Cuesta College Big Band (Dir. Ron McCarley), 3pm – Melodious Funk combo. Free show with donations for the bands. At the Grover Beach Community Center, 1230 Trouville Ave.

Saturday, Oct 26th – Pacific Mambo Orchestra presented by the Clark Center for the Performing Arts – 487 Fair Oaks Ave, Arroyo Grande 7:30 pm. Tickets through the Clark Center website (Click HERE).

Sunday, Oct 27th – BSR presents Two Great Bands!  Tom Rigney & Flambeau (Cajun) AND The Crescent Katz (Trad Jazz), at the Pismo Beach Vets Hall, 780 Bello Street, 11 am to 4 pm.  $30 General Admission and $10-25 for BSR members. On sale now through My805Tix (Click HERE).

Friday, November 1st – Cuesta College Jazz Combos at Linnaea’s Cafe at 1110 Garden St., SLO, 6-8pm (and every 1st and 3rd Friday).
