JazzFest Central Coast 2024 – October 23rd to 28th

The Basin Street Regulars Hot Jazz Club is organizing JazzFest Central Coast 2024 in lieu of its traditional Jazz Jubilee by the Sea.

This new Festival concept will have a regional focus involving as many local Jazz oriented bands, venues, swing dancers and music fans as possible. The footprint of this initial Festival could range from Paso and Morro Bay to SLO to the Five Cities and down to Santa Barbara County. The intent of the Festival is to celebrate, promote and enjoy all the jazz available to locals and visitors here in the heart of the Central Coast.

This will be a community wide event and we welcome and encourage your involvement and suggestions. Please let us know if you can provide help with:

• identifying jazz bands and swing dance groups that could/should be involved during the weekend
• suggesting venues to be involved with the event
• ideas for high school and college bands and vocal groups to participate
• helping promote the Festival
• identifying corporate and individual sponsors to underwrite the Festival marketing expenses
